The months following his death became a time of grief and guilt, when police — criticized for not having busted the party before Joe collapsed — began to crack down and parents fretted when their kids went out at night. …A good friend of mine posted this on FB and I just couldn’t help but to share this; we all need to talk to our kids!Category community, Uncategorized | Tags: community, death, teen drinking | No Comments

Are the Banks stockpiling REO’S
November 10, 2009 by Lynnell Woodward
I keep getting this question “are the banks stockpiling their REO’S?”.
This is a really good question when I look at our current home inventory I can see that it is down almost half of what it was two years ago here in the Foothills. Then when I look at the number of properties that are in distress, meaning a Notice of Default has been posted and the number of homes that have been foreclosed but not on the market it would appear that yes there is a significant number of properties that on the banks books.
The question is when will these properties be released to the public? Will it make our market go down or is it going to be a steady stream so it doesn’t have a huge impact on the current market. Good questions.
I keep telling myself and buyers we need to be patient but if we see a house that fits their needs not to wait because who knows how long it is going to take. It could be 3 months, 6 months even a year or more and by then where will interest rates be? Will the tax credit still be there? My advice is to keep looking and again if you see something that you like then step up and move forward.
If you have any questions or thougts I’d love to hear from you!
