I was watching the news this morning and it was said that there are over 860,000 American Flags being put at Arlington Cemetery.  It really made me think WOW that many have died for us to keep us FREE what an incredible sacrifice they and their families have made for us.

Boy is it going to be a busy weekend… there is the Relay for Life Walk at Clark Magnet on New York Ave. it is a 24 hour walk starting Saturday morning until Sunday mid morning.  When I say a 24 hour walk it really goes the entire 24 hours!  If you’ve never been stop on by it is great fun and what a wonderful cause.

Also on Saturday  Discover the Foothills, a walk, bike, shop free safety bike check.  Starting at the new library at Foothill and La Crescenta with a free bike safety check.  They are showing us the new bike lanes and many of the local shop owners are joining the fun so should you!
