Well last week I couldn’t wait to feel needed and I did now this week the bills are coming and it’s only when “hey Mom a parka is …” etc. you know the drill. Well enough already now if the boy would call or text even to say hey… that would be a whole other story.

I was driving up Ramsdell this morning and it hit me Justin has been gone for one week. Wow that was fast; he completed his first year of college and now he just started his second. It seems just like yesterday we were scrambling at the end of summer getting the kids ready for school just where did the time go? I remember setting up carpools and figuring out how they were going to get from home to school and school to home then off to practice and not take too much time from work and now nothing. I found myself feeling very needed when Justin phoned me asking if I would send him a few things he forgot well I dropped everything and ran and did it and it felt good! I miss not being needed!
